Outreach and Special Events
Bi-monthly the Grace Apostolic Church hosts an outreach to the community in one of the neighborhood apartment complexes (Stafford Oaks Apartment or Park at Fort Bend Apartment. These are designed to build relationships with families who live in these apartments. Activities include free meal, toy or candy giveaways for the children or an outdoor music program.
Youth Trip and Family Retreats
A couple times a year, Grace Apostolic Church organizes either a family retreat or youth trip. During the family retreat, there is time for teaching, music and fellowship with games. Children will learn stories from the Bible and have games, songs and activities along with it. Adults attend sessions with Biblical teaching from guest teachers and preachers.
Summer Programs for Youth and Children
Summer Youth Trip : Included a two day visit to another church in Laredo, Texas. Our youth prepared music and games to share with the youth group at the hosting church in Rio Bravo. They also shared their own experiences in their Christian faith with these youth. The trip also included some time visiting the Mexican border and fun in the Riverwalk in San Antonio.
Summer Music Camp : Free music lessons in guitar, keyboard and drums offered 2x/week for children ages 3-18.
VBS : Vacation Bible School offers a week of songs, games and stories on a Biblical theme. Ages 3-10.
